Rihanna Rises Above Trump

Donald Trump was not too pleased when Rihanna had to cancel her performance at this private Palm Beach Club Mar-a-lago. Rihanna then performed the next day at the NBA All-Star game. Trump dissed Rihanna to the press. Rihanna released that she had to cancel due to recovering from bronchitis, her doctor advised her that getting on a plane would further damage her vocals and urged her not to go. However the singer, was very thankful that Jennifer Hudson was able to step in.

Leona Lewis

Leona Lewis is working on her thrid album. This album isn't going to be Leona's traditional ballads, but more club friendly tracks. This is a very big change for the star, especially with her vocals. Let's see if this new direction compromises her vocal ability. Simon Cowell has influenced this change, his team is asking artists to record more dubstep tracks with traditional lyrics. They are even flat out saying no to ballads. Let's see how this album turns out.

Kim Kardashian Turned Pop Star?

Kim Kardashian is a relatiy star, designer, producer, entrepreneur, and author. For most stars this would be enough. But the star is now tackling singing. Her single "Turn It Up" was produced by The Dream,who also produced Rhianna's "Umbrella" and Beyonce's "Single Ladies." Kim says the song is a fun pop dance song. She wanted to try something that she had never done before and singing was definately it, but as for pursing singing as her full time gig, the star is trying not to think about the future.

Paris to do Another Album

Paris Hilton spilled at a pre-grammy party that she has new music in the works, and that her new album will drop in the next few months. Thats all the famous socialite would reveal. Paris is no longer with Waner Brother Records, but she would not release what label is going to release the album. Her producer and who she will be callobrating with is also unknown. So far this entire album is one giant mystery. The star is trying to build up the suspense, let's see if she can deliver.

Gaga VS. Madonna

Lady Gaga's single 'Born This Way' has been compared to Madonna's 'Express Yourself.' Lady Gaga admits she is a huge Madonna fan both personally and professionally. Madonna even approved of the song. "Well, the good news is that I got an e-mail from her people and her, sending me their love and complete support on behalf of the single and if the queen says it shall be, then it shall be," Gaga said in an interview.

Katy Joins Force with Kanye

Katy Perry is getting ready to drop her fourth single off her latest album, Teenage Dream. The music video is already in the works. Kanye West will be featured on the single version of the track. Who will also play Katy's love interest in the music video. Look out for the release of this video, Katy will be sporting some interesting head-wear and make up.

A Kiss for Criss

So Christina Kay and I have been obsessing lately over a certain Glee character. No, it's not Puck (although that is not a bad obsession to have). It's the ever so talented and enormously handsome Darren Criss. His velvety smooth voice, his not so shabby looks, and the hair...oh the hair. Don't you just want to run your fingers through it? Too much? Well anyway i wanted to welcome you all to the world of this talented and damn gorgeous man. There's just something about a man who get belt out a good tune...

Criss, who was born on February 5, 1987, is best known for his roles in Harry Potter musicals where he portrayed non other than the wizard himself, Harry Potter. Criss released a self-produced EP Human on iTunes in the summer of 2010. It debuted at No. 30 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers Albums and has reached the iTunes Top 20 Alternative charts.

Valentine's Day Lovin'

Valentine's Day used to be my favorite holiday. No, I am not being bitter. I'm just not doing anything special this year. But it still makes me curious...is romance still alive? Do guys still have the guts to ask a girl to be their valentine? Have all men given up on love or being chivalrous? Is it the girls job to plan something, or is it that ONE day a year where the girl can go up to her man and say "you are the best boyfriend ever i love you!" (any guy would probably pat himself on the back after this so why wouldn't they plan something nice?!) I've asked people around the station what their plans were for their special someone. And this is what they said:

MarkXclusive- "We're going to eat pizza, drink Moscato, Ciroc, and enjoy a romantic evening with each other."
Christina Kay- "what am i doing for valentine's day? going to eat girl scout cookies. and watch The Bachelor while eating the girl scout cookies...yea."
Lauren King- "haha eating in Winnick. It's going to be great."
Steven- "umm..working. Maybe i'll drop a flower off at my girlfriends house. We'll see."
Even- "Umm..i am..um..um..i'm probably going to end up at a bar and trying my luck."

Well there you have it. So exciting. WHERE IS THE LOVE PEOPLE?! Except for MarkXclusive..better luck next year?

Myles Got Talent

Myles Marcus is an upcoming 18 year old singer. He has been singing for 5 years, and is a Jersey boy. Myles has worked with some amazing singing professionals like the renowned Amelia DeMayo and Sal Dupree and as a student at the Performing Theater Workshop, where he studies acting and voice. Myles has also been working with the School of Rock for the past 2 years and was lucky enough to have Producer Roy Royalty Hamilton III strike an interest in him, who then co-created and produced Myles first original single “Jump.” The emerging star also helps out causes such as the Diabetes Foundation whom he performed "It's A Man's World." Keep an eye on Myles and take a listen here, I'm sure he'll be a success.

Miley Cyrus has had a tough year, with her parents divorce and the scandal surrounding her smoking from a bong. The star claims to not be as racy as the press portrays her to be in an article with Marie Claire magazine. Despite this the star still feels guilt for her fans feeling betrayed. The Hannah Montana fans helped Miley make $48 million last year. The singer is now working on bringing clean water to the people of Indonesia. Miley expects a bright future for herself, with the charity work she does, and her now strong singing and acting career.

MAD Magazine's cover poses the Alfred E. Neuman public figure, with the big ears, but with the now famous Bieber haircut. The headlines for this article is, Justin Bieber. "HIS STUPID HAIR!" "HIS DUMB BOOK!" "HIS TERRIBLE MOVIE!" "HIS AWFUL MUSIC!" The article and cover both playfully mock the singer based on antibieber fans view of the pop star. However despite the critics Justin Bieber may have, he is no doubtingly a superstar. He has already accomplished so much at the young age of sixteen, and surely has a long road ahead of him continuing this success.

You’re never too old to rock n’ roll! WCWP alumni will be expanding their Friday night rock show to Thursdays. Catch The Rock Show on Thursday nights from 7pm to 9pm. WCWP is happy to invite back more alumni to host the show.
DJs Bernie Bernard, Jett Lightening, and Bobby G will host the show on Thursdays; Friday nights will be Mike Riccio, Alan Seltzer, Scott Perschke, and Jammin’ Jamie Mazzo.
Music will range from free form rock to rock folk, pop, and novelty. You can also hear a variety of today’s hot rock songs. “You just never know what you’re going to hear!” says Bernie Bernard, Thursday night DJ and professor at the C.W. Post campus of Long Island University.

Miranda Lambert's Successful Road

Miranda Lambert is sky rocketing to success. The country music star presented the nominees at The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. She received her first ACM entertainer of the year nomination. At least years ACM's the singer took home three awards. In just 13 days she's up for two Grammy Awards and her song "The House That Built Me" is also nominated.
