This is due to her theft of a $2,500 necklace from an upscale shop in Los Angeles. Lohan has been convinected in the past but the longest the star has ever stayed was 14 days, she was released due to overcrowding and her crimes being considered not a serious criminal act, since they were misdemeanors.
